Sires
HYEK Black Impact 3960N
At Cib's Gelbvieh our breeding program revolves around using heavy hitting A.I. sires. The 2023 calf crop will bring calves sired by CIBB Jedi, CIBS Good Golly, DDGR Baller, EGL Game Changer, EGL Lifeline, HYEK Black Impact, and MCCA Gunner.
We choose to utilize AI sires that are highly proven to ensure the genetics we are passing along are ones that can work in real world environments. Using the "hottest NEW sires" isn't our style. We will leave the guess work to other operations.

Our current herd sire is CIBS Polar 4127B. He was the high selling Gelbvieh bull in the 2015 Iowa Beef Expo Gelbvieh Gold Sale and we were lucky enough to retain
early spring pasture possession of him. We have been very pleased with his calves
and he will continue to see use for us! Semen is available!

Females
Females at Cib's Gelbvieh stem from matriarch females from the heart of the Hayek Gelbvieh program. Our females have to be sound, functional females and wean off a heavy calf every year in order to keep their place in our herd.
CIBS Hannah 4154B or "Shady" as she is commonly called around here, is a beautiful purebred female who has produced a sale bull every year and the only heifer she's had we retained in our herd. She's a deep bodied, massive middled and wide made cow who possesses a great udder. Our plans are to IVF her in the near future and hopefully create some more females to follow in her footsteps.
HYEK Chevonne 5161R
HYEK Chevonne 5161R was sold at our 2004 production sale to Troy Lohman, TNT Farms in Illinios as a calf. She went on to be crowned Champion Gelbvieh female at the 2006 NAILE, Champion Female at the 2006 Iowa State Fair, and a class winner at the 2007 National Western. We have full sisters working in our herd and wow can they produce! We also have full sibling embryos available for sale. Contact Matt if interested.
CIBS Janise 8960U
CIBS Janise 8960U is a maternal half sister to HYEK Black Impact 3960N. She has the same tremendous capacity and volume as Black Impact and is possibly the easiest fleshing female in our herd. Janise was Champion Iowa Female at the 2009 Iowa State Fair and in 2012 her and her heifer calf received the same honors. Then her calf went on to be named Reserve Overall Champion Balancer female.
CIBS Chandra 7386T
Chandra could be one the the prettiest females we have raised. This Black Impact daughter is the model cow of the kind of females we strive to raise at Cib's Gelbvieh. Her 2012 daughter by Krugerrand was our pick to consign to the 2013 Iowa Beef Expo and she is very nice. Chandra is a perfect example of the kind of females Black Impact produces. Moderate, capacious, easy fleshing females with excellent udders.
